Sohaib Awan

In addition to being the Founder and CEO of children's transmedia company Jabal Entertainment, LLC, Philadelphia-born Sohaib Awan is the Host of 610/860 AM Philadelphia’s Fictional Frontiers. Recognizing the dearth of serious pop culture discourse, Sohaib launched the program in June of 2008. With over 500 episodes and over 600 interviews, Fictional Frontiers has become one of the most respected genre programs among entertainment industry insiders.

In 2012, Sohaib created the fantasy/science fiction IDW Publishing comic book series Jinnrise which is due for release as an animated series in 2019. He is also the co-creator of Jabal Entertainment’s Blades of Hope and The Sherlocks.

Prior to the forming of Jabal Entertainment, Sohaib was the founder and managing partner of The Law Offices of Sohaib Awan. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Richmond, his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law-Camden, and Management Certification from The Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania).

Sohaib is also a voting member of the Critics Choice Awards and the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
